Leigh McIntyre, DO, is humbled by the privilege of being a family physician, joining the Pandya Medical Center team in Johns Creek, Georgia.
After graduating from the honors program at Georgia State University, where she majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry, her love for people and the sciences led her to pursue a career in medicine.
Dr. McIntyre thoroughly enjoyed her time as an osteopathic medical student and a Family Medicine resident. She attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia campus in Suwanee and completed her residency at the UT Chattanooga Erlanger Family Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. McIntyre practiced Family Medicine in the greater Atlanta area for three years prior to joining the Pandya Medical Center team. She appreciates treating patients of all ages and enjoys the variety of Family Medicine.
Passionate about family, faith, and preventive, holistic medicine, Dr. McIntyre believes in helping the body to be as healthy as possible in order that it may heal itself with the help of modern medicine. She values kind, compassionate, expedient, and competent care. She loves to deliver patient care with a smile and a mutually respectful patient-physician relationship.
Dr. McIntyre lives in Duluth with her husband and three daughters. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, yoga, gardening, and adventures in North Georgia.
