Rebecca Cowart, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, with extensive experience in both women’s health and primary care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Valdosta State University in 2001 and her Master of Science in Nursing from University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013. She has dedicated her career to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Rebecca spent 12 years working in labor and delivery at one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, where she developed a strong foundation in women’s health and caring for patients through some of life’s most important transitions. She then spent the last 13 years in primary care, focusing on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and helping patients achieve long-term wellness.
She has a special interest in women’s health, including hormone replacement therapy and supporting women through peri- and postmenopausal symptoms. She is also deeply passionate about preventive medicine, patient education, and empowering individuals to take an active role in their long-term health and wellness. Her approach to care is centered on building trust, fostering open communication, and creating individualized treatment plans that address the whole person, not just the symptoms.
