Eileen Tatum, MD

Dr. Eileen Tatum was born and raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia and is so excited to be back near her hometown and joining the Pandya Medical Center team in Johns Creek.

Dr. Tatum received her bachelor’s of science degree in robotics and control systems engineering from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. She then returned to Atlanta to obtain her medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her family medicine training as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy, with her internship at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Virginia and her second and third years of residency at Naval Hospital Jacksonville in Florida.

She then served as the Senior Medical Officer of the Naval Branch Health Clinic in San Diego, California before discharging from the military and returning to Georgia.

Dr. Tatum is passionate about establishing a trusting relationship with her patients and empowering them in their healthcare decisions. She has particular interest in metabolic disease and diabetes, women’s health including contraception and menopause management, and mental health care.

In her spare time Dr. Tatum enjoys spending time with her husband, human babies and fur babies. She is enjoying living near her childhood neighborhood and spending time with her parents and grandparents regularly.
