Dr. Smith is a Georgia native, originally from Lawrenceville. She attended Emory University for her undergraduate studies and earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. She completed her Family Medicine residency at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and is board certified in Family Medicine.
Dr. Smith chose Family Medicine because she values the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and their families while caring for the whole person. She enjoys partnering with her patients to improve their quality of life, prevent illness, and support their health at every stage of life. Her clinical interests include lifestyle medicine, women’s health, and mental health.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Smith enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants and foodie spots, and spending time with family and friends.
